Caroline Macleod, MD, CCFP, FCFP

Dr. Macleod completed medical school at the University of Ottawa in 1996 and received her family medicine degree from Queen’s University in 1998. Since then she has been practicing occupational/family medicine at the military base in Kingston, initially as a serving member and now as a civilian provider. Dr. Macleod practiced emergency medicine at the Perth and Smiths fall District Hospital, Smiths Falls site for over 16 years.

Her experiences and skills in family and emergency medicine have allowed a seamless transition into cosmetic medicine. Dr. Macleod has been both nationally and internationally trained in cosmetic medical procedures such as injectable wrinkle prevention treatments, fillers and various laser and non-surgical cosmetic treatments. As with all types of medicine, Dr. Macleod prides herself in maintaining up-to-date knowledge about cosmetic treatments and attends conferences and training throughout North America and Europe, bringing the acquired knowledge and techniques back to the clinic. Dr. Macleod is also a consultant/trainer for Allergan for Botox and filler.

Dr Macleod’s professional memberships include the College of Family Physicians of Canada, the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine, Canadian Phlebology (Vein) Society and The American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
